Meetings/Groups that G.O.P.A has supported or is involved with :


  • NSF Implementation Group for Older Persons implementation Group.
  • PCT’s input to meeting on a regular basis; smaller groups i.e. 12 months specific working parties, and short-term individual groups.
  • Older Persons’ Scrutiny Committee (as and when required).
  • Housing Committees. (In Cheltenham and in F of D).
  • Falls Prevention, via Senior Person’s User Group (SPUG in the F of D).
  • Social Service Charging Policy working party (three months input).
  • Strategy for Services for Older People in Gloucestershire.
